This is a close-up abstract of the sculpture “Rose for Lilly” in the Blue Ribbon Garden, a gathering place at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles.
Designed by the architect Frank Gehry, the rose petals in the sculpture are covered with pieces of porcelain, as a tribute to the late Lillian Disney who loved Royal Delft porcelain vases and roses.
