Just a short drive west of Bishop, California, the natural setting changes quite abruptly from the high desert sage and arid climate of the Owens Valley to an alpine pine forest, rushing streams and gorgeous lakes surrounded by the high mountains of the Eastern Sierra. This is one of the most popular areas in the area for trout fishing.
