Description
This is a digitally modified version of a false color composite image, depicting hundreds of young stars on a canvas of gas and dust, with intense ultraviolet light and strong stellar winds as brushes. Original raw capture by NASA's Spitzer and Hubble telescopes.
The Orion Nebula (also known as Messier 42, M42, or NGC 1976) is a diffuse nebula, south of Orion's Belt in the Orion Constellation. It is estimated to be 24 light years across, and has a mass of about 2000 times the mass of our Sun.
I have modified the original raw NASA image considerably to enhance the colors, beauty, balance and luminosity, in order to provide you a breathtaking, high quality, fine art print through this website. The original NASA raw capture is in public domain.
