Description
This is a mural at the San Gabriel Mission in California.
The catholic mission was founded by Father Junipero Serra on Sept 8, 1771, as the fourth of the missions in California. Named after the Archangel Gabriel, it was designed by Father Antonio Cruzado who gave the building its strong Moorish architectural style.
I liked the “crumbly” look of the mural, reflecting how old it is. I tried to preserve the fragile look of the artwork while processing the image.
