Christmas in paradise! Surfers on a beautiful blue-sky day, Huntington Beach, California. In the bakground are the City of Long Beach and off-shore oil rigs.
Huntington Beach, also known as Surf City, provides a perfect recreational experience due to its abundance of beaches, sunny, warm mediterranean climate, local surfing, and casual lifestyle. It has a comfortable climate throughout the year with a temperature that rarely exceeds 90 degrees Fahrenheit (32 Celsius). It features one of the largest recreational piers in the world, public parks, riding stables and equestrian trails, a marina, a wildlife preserve, and an eight-mile biking, jogging, and walking trail along the ocean. The crown jewel is the 8.5 miles of wide, spacious beach where large crowds gather in summer for the U.S Open of Surfing, pro beach volleyball, and other sporting events. The beach is also a great place for people watching.
