The Point Vicente lighthouse is a southern California landmark. Constructed in 1926, it provides guidance to boats and ships travelling along the coast. The nearby Point Vicente Interpretive Center is popular for weddings, receptions and watching whales migrating between their feeding grounds in Alaska and warm lagoons of Mexico’s Baja Peninsula.
