Description
A wildflower meadow in Joshua Tree National Park, shimmering in early morning sunlight.

The wildflowers in this picture are Brittlebush (Encelia farinosa), Brown-eyed Evening Primrose (Camissonia claviformis), Arizona Lupine (Lupinus arizonicus), Creosote Bush (Larrea tridentata), Chuparosa (Justicia californica). The green bush on the right is White Bursage, Ambrosia dumosa (thanks to Facebook’s California Native Plant Society group for help with the ID). In the background are the Eagle Mountains.
I find the beauty of JTNP to be quite subtle. You don’t have overly saturated colors of wildflowers such the California Poppy that you see at other California desert locations. The colors of wildflowers at JTNP are quite gentle and understated, as in this picture.
To the potential buyer: At 100%, this has incredible amount of detail. I would recommend printing this in as large a size that you can afford.
